WrestleMania 42: Start Time, Where to Watch and Full Match Card

The Road to WrestleMania ends this weekend as the biggest WWE show of the year touches down in Las Vegas. WrestleMania 42 takes place in Sin City’s Allegiant Stadium for the second year in a row and spans two nights: Saturday and Sunday.

There is a lot on the line at this year’s WrestleMania with a plethora of major storylines getting their due on the main stage. CM Punk defends his World Heavyweight Championship title against the Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. Randy Orton took the John Cena route and turned heel, and has targeted former bestie Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Speaking of John Cena, the recently retired WWE superstar won his 17th championship at last year’s WrestleMania. He will return to professional wrestling’s biggest show of the year — but this time, he’ll be the host of the entire shebang. You’ve gotta wonder if he’ll raise that hand to the sky, one more time.

There’s so much more where that comes from. Read on for more info on WrestleMania 42 and how to watch.

WrestleMania 42 date, start time and match card

WrestleMania 42 begins on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET/ 3 p.m. PT. The second night, Sunday, will also begin at that time. There is no official end time, but using last year as a guide, you should probably expect each night to last roughly 4 to 5 hours.

Here’s the complete match card for the big two-night event:

WrestleMania 42 Night 1 match card (Saturday)

  • AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship
  • Seth Rollins vs. Gunther
  • Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Championship

WrestleMania 42 Night 2 match card (Sunday):

  • Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
  • Sami Zayn vs.Trick Williams for the United States Championship
  • Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship
  • Demon (aka Finn Bálor) vs. Dominik Mysterio
  • CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship

How to watch WrestleMania 42 in the US without cable

Last year, WrestleMania streamed exclusively on Peacock. Since then, WWE entered a five-year deal with ESPN, which now houses all of the company’s premium live events. So, you can stream the two-night wrestling extravaganza with an ESPN Unlimited subscription in the US. The streaming service plan is accessible through the ESPN app.

If you already get the sports channel through a cable TV subscription, you’ll be able to view the first hour of the event live on Saturday on ESPN2. Sunday’s show will broadcast the first live hour on ESPN.

You’ll need to subscribe to the ESPN Unlimited plan (which costs $30 a month) to view WrestleMania 42 in its entirety. You can also stream the whole event on Disney Plus if you subscribe to the Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited bundle — the ad-supported bundle is $36 a month, and the ad-free option is $45 a month.

How to watch WrestleMania 42 internationally

WWE fans outside of the US can stream WrestleMania 42 on Netflix, since the streamer still holds the international rights to all the company’s premium live events.

Netflix subscribers in the following countries were able to watch the event live:

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and UK.
