Knock an Extra 30% Off These Refurbished Blink Cameras With This Woot Deal

Woot has refurbished Blink security cams available right now, and if you use code BLINK30 at checkout, you’ll get an extra 30% off your purchase. That can bring prices down to as low as $28, making now an excellent time to consider an upgrade. But you’ll need to act soon if you’re interested. This deal ends May 16 at 11:58 p.m. CT (9:58 p.m. PT) or when stock runs out.

If you’ve been wanting to add extra security to your home but don’t want to overspend, investing in refurbished home security cameras might be the right fit, especially if you want a model that doesn’t require a subscription.

A two-pack of refurbished Blink Outdoor 4 security cameras is listed for $43, but that price drops to just $30 after you enter the code. Each camera has 1080p HD live view, infrared night vision and two-way audio. It can also run for up to two years with the included AA lithium batteries. You’ll get a free 30-day trial of the Blink Subscription Plan with your purchase, which lets you store clips in the cloud. You can also take advantage of local storage with the included Sync Module 2 or a USB drive (sold separately).

Our home security expert Tyler Lacoma says, “The Blink Outdoor 4 occupies a sweet spot in the outdoor security world, a general-use cam ready for the elements and providing high-quality services with a simple-to-use interface. It’s not exactly high-end — the resolution, field of view, audio and detection features fall short of the top cams we’ve tested. But it’s very good at what it does, at a relatively reasonable price ($100) and a long-term wireless design.” A 70% reduction on its already reasonable price makes this two-pack an even better bargain.

The refurbished Blink Video Doorbell is also available for $40 — but with the code applied, the cost falls to only $28. It also has the expected two-way audio and 1080p HD video, with infrared night video, but its design also allows you either a wired or wire-free battery installation for more flexibility. Your purchase comes with a free 30-day trial of a Blink Subscription Plan so that your footage can be stored in the cloud. You can also back it up locally with a Sync Module 2 and a USB drive or a Sync Module XR and a microSD card (all sold separately on this model). Also note that your video doorbell may also have small cosmetic imperfections, but at this price, that may be worth overlooking.

Nervous about investing in a refurb? Woot is including a 90-day warranty with your purchase, just in case.

We’ve also found plenty of other budget-friendly home security cameras if you want to compare before you buy.

Why this deal matters

Home security cameras are a great way to keep an eye on your home or deliveries, even while you’re away. You can get real-time alerts and store footage if something concerning happens. Right now, you can get an extra 30% off select refurbished Blink cameras. But you’ll need to lock in these prices soon, as the offer ends May 16 or when supplies run dry, whichever happens first.
