Don’t Miss These Rare Direct Discounts on the Samsung Galaxy Ring at Many Retailers

These days, it seems like almost everyone you come across is focused on tracking steps and health stats. Most people have some sort of smartwatch, but the smart ring has become a viable option for anyone who would rather not wear a bulky wrist accessory. Smart rings are smaller, less obtrusive and often more comfortable to wear around the clock. The Samsung Galaxy Ring is a great option right now, and for good reason.

It covers all the bases you’d expect — sleep tracking, energy levels and activity monitoring — and works particularly well if you’re already a Samsung user. It’s IP68 water-resistant, so wearing it in the pool isn’t an issue, though it’s not built for diving or high-pressure water. Battery life stretches up to seven days depending on your size and usage, and a 30-minute charge gets you to 40%.

This story is part of Samsung Event, CNET’s collection of news, tips and advice around Samsung’s most popular products.

The only catch is that it starts at $400 — so it’s not exactly an impulse buy. That’s why finding a good deal matters, and we’ve rounded up the best prices on the Galaxy Ring below. If you’re interested in other Samsung devices, check out all the best deals on the Galaxy S26 lineup, the previous-gen Galaxy S25 series or the Galaxy Z Flip 7 or Galaxy Z Fold 7 to ensure you get the best price.

Best Galaxy Ring deals

Samsung is offering a direct $100 discount on the ring right now, regardless of whether you have a trade-in.

You can save an extra $50, bumping the total savings up to $150, when trading in an old device. Along with that, if you’re a student, teacher, government employee, in the military or a veteran, a first responder or fall into a few select other categories, you may be eligible to take advantage of more savings.

Remember that you can order a free sizing kit from Samsung to ensure your new Galaxy Ring fits correctly.

Walmart is currently offering the same direct discount on the Samsung Galaxy Ring. However, it’s not on every model. Double-check the price of the size and color you want before checking out.

The Galaxy Ring is available at Verizon, but there are no deals to take advantage of right now. However, Verizon does have the ring in stock in most colors and sizes.

Best Buy is offering the same $100 discount across the Galaxy Ring line.

If you have a similar device from Fitbit, Apple, Garmin, Samsung, Google or select other brands, you can score some trade-in savings. Trade-in values vary greatly. Some items score as little as $5, while others get as much as $300. The largest value goes to newer Apple devices.

Amazon has the same $100 discount on the Galaxy Rings. However, some models are sold out, so be sure to double-check that the one you want is in stock.

What is the best Galaxy Ring deal right now?

Direct discounts on this one are hard to find right now, and availability is hit-or-miss. However, Samsung is currently offering an impressive $100 off.

How we choose Galaxy Ring deals at CNET

Many of CNET’s deals experts have covered savings on top tech for more than five years, including wearables from popular brands like Apple, Samsung and Google. Our combined experience has helped us learn how to identify standout deals and uncover more creative ways to save when sales are slim. These include any straightforward discounts being offered by trustworthy retailers, as well as savings in the form of trade‑in offers or exclusive savings for service members and students.

The Galaxy Ring requires you to have the Samsung Health app, so while it’s not exclusively compatible with Samsung phones, it will only work with Android phones that can install the app. That means the Galaxy Ring cannot be used with iPhones or other Apple devices.

The starting price for the Galaxy Ring in the US, before any trade-ins or discounts is $400.

You can order the Galaxy Ring in titanium black, titanium silver and titanium gold.

You can order the Galaxy Ring in nine different sizes, running from size 5 through 13. It is important to note that Samsung says the Ring’s sizing differs from US standards due to its internal sensors. The company recommends ordering its free sizing kit before you place your order.
