Catching up on all the latest TV shows and movies is not as easy as it seems. Each hot new show seems to live on a different streaming platform — often behind a paywall. Before you know it, you have a mountain of subscriptions to take care of.

The good news is you can get a decent number of subscriptions without paying the full price for each. There are promos and bundles that can trim your monthly costs by as much as 84%. We’ve rounded up the most effective ways to lower your streaming bill so you can keep watching what you love without overspending.

With many combined years of experience covering services and tech, CNET’s resident streaming experts, alongside members of CNET’s dedicated deals team, bring you the best offers and help you make the most of your streaming-service budget. The bargains below include monthly discounts, bundle offers and price cuts for students. We’ll continue to update this page as offers come and go, so check back often.

Best streaming service deals

A standard Starz subscription is $12 per month but there are plenty of ways to sign up for less right now. New subscribers can get their first six months for $20 total. That brings each month to a little over $3 per month.

YouTube TV: From $68 per month

YouTube TV is CNET’s top pick for the overall cable alternative available. It’s pricey at $83 per month, but right now, new subscribers will get $45 off their first three months, which brings the price down to $68 a month. You can also try it free for 10 days, which is plenty of time to see if you want to commit.

What is the best streaming service deal right now?

Ultimately, the best streaming service deal will depend on the content you want to watch. The Trio Basic subscription — which bundles Disney Plus, HBO Max and Hulu — is an excellent value. Combining three popular services for as little as $20 a month, you’ll get a variety of shows and movies for less.

How we choose streaming service deals at CNET

This list features several straightforward streaming deals that include temporary discounts for new or returning subscribers. These offers aren’t the only way to score some savings. We’ve also included plenty of other ways to stretch your budget for streaming, including discounted student subscriptions, annual plan savings and bundle offers that combine multiple services. Some of these offers may not technically qualify as a “deal,” but they’re among the most consistent ways to get a streaming subscription for less.
