Today Only: Beat the Prime Day Rush With $250 Off Acer’s Swift Go 16 Laptop

The Acer Swift Go 16 is down to $750 from $1,000 today only. That’s a straight $250 off and a new record low price, making this one of those “grab it while you can” moments. It typically sits closer to $1,100 on Amazon and we have no idea if a deal this good on it will be available on Prime Day.

It’s a solid all-rounder laptop for work or everyday use. In Alan Bradley’s review, he said it offers “excellent productivity performance,” though the specs on the machine he tested out were slightly different than the model on sale today, which we’ll explore below.

Most notably, machine Bradley checked out was the OLED version (which costs significantly more), whereas the one on sale today has an IPS panel. It’s still powerful enough for most everyday users, with an Intel Core 9 processor, 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage. However, as Bradley makes clear, the Swift Go isn’t a creative powerhouse — graphics performance is intentionally limited and not suited for gaming or GPU-heavy editing.

The 16-inch touchscreen on the Swift Go 16 keeps things simple and practical. It has a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution with a slightly taller 16:10 shape, which just means you get a bit more vertical space for when you’re scrolling through documents, browsing or juggling multiple windows. The brightness is rated at 350 nits, which is fine for indoor use, and the IPS panel helps keep colors and clarity consistent even if you’re not looking at it straight on.

For connectivity, it’s fairly up to date. Wi-Fi 7 support offers faster and more stable internet when paired with compatible routers. You also get a mix of modern and older ports — USB-C and USB-A, so you can plug in accessories without needing too many adapters. Bluetooth 5.3 is also included for wireless devices like headphones or mice.
