Save $50: The Aiper Scuba S1 is our favorite budget robot pool cleaner, and it’s now just $450 at Walmart. That’s a new low for a robot pool cleaner that is already one of the more affordable of its kind, but we have no way of knowing how long this deal will last.

This special price is thanks to Walmart’s counter-Prime Day sale, but Amazon hasn’t gotten anywhere near this price so far. That might change, but for now, Walmart is the place to buy your new Scuba S1.

This story is part of Amazon Prime Day, CNET’s guide to everything you need to know and how to find the best deals.

In his expert review testing over 20 different robot pool cleaners, CNET’s Home and Kitchen Managing Editor David Watsky named the Aiper Scuba S1 the best budget pool cleaner, noting that it “cleaned better than bigger, more expensive cordless robots” he tested.

At just 17 pounds, the Aiper Scuba S1 is a lightweight, cordless cleaner that Watsky called “mighty for its size and weight.” During testing, Watsky praised the Scuba S1, noting that it “churned through its over-3-hour cleaning cycle using its 4,200 gph of suction to pick up every leaf and all but 18 of the 100 pebbles we tossed in the bottom.”

Though he cautions that it may not be the right fit for an extra-large pool, Watsky found the Aiper Scuba S1 to be a “great all-around robot vacuum for most small and medium-sized inground or above-ground pools.” He also found it to offer great value for the price, and at this price, it’s even better.
