Though it’s pricier than its predecessor, the Nintendo Switch 2 is still the overall best handheld console on the market right now. It’s sleek, portable and gives you access to tons of exclusive titles like Mario Kart World and Pokopia. We haven’t seen any direct discounts since it first hit shelves last June, but CNET’s shopping experts are still scouring the web for any ways to save.
The Mario Kart World bundle saves you $30 compared to buying the game and console separately, but it’s getting tough to find since Nintendo stopped restocking it. Plus, several retailers are offering $20 off when you bundle the console with a copy of Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. We’re tracking these deals as they come and go, as well as where US, Canadian and UK shoppers can find the console and accessories in stock right now.

Nintendo Switch 2 console deals
Walmart has the new Super Mario Galaxy bundle available for $499, saving you $20 compared to buying the games and console separately. If you don’t want the bundle, the standalone console is also available.
Amazon has the standalone console in stock, along with a handful of unique game and accessory bundles. The Super Mario Galaxy bundle includes the console and a physical or digital copy of Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, and saves you $20 compared to purchasing them separately.
Target only carries the standalone Switch 2 console, but is offering 30% off a copy of Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 when bundled with this purchase, which saves you $21. Just add both the console and game to your cart, and the discount will be applied at checkout.
GameStop has the Super Mario Galaxy bundle available for $500, which saves you $20 compared to purchasing the games and console separately. Just add both items to your cart and the discount will be automatically applied at checkout.
At the moment, Best Buy only has the standalone console and the Super Mario Galaxy bundle available. You may also see the Mario Kart World and Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundles available, but these are being sold by third-party vendors at inflated prices, which we recommend you avoid.
Nintendo has the standalone console available, but both the Mario Kart World and Pokemon Legends bundles are currently sold out. Plus, Nintendo has confirmed that there won’t be any future restocks for the Mario Kart World bundle, which means it’s likely gone for good.
Nintendo Switch 2 game and accessory deals
Nintendo Joy-Con 2 Wheel: $25
These wheel accessories can put you directly in the driver’s seat, making them perfect for games like Mario Kart World. This two-pack comes with a wheel for both the left and right Joy-Con so you can easily race against friends.

This is a great option for those who prefer the feel of a more traditional controller. It’s wireless, supports motion controls and has mappable buttons so you can customize it to suit your playstyle.

This compact camera plugs directly into the Switch 2 console or the dock’s USB-C port. It allows you to chat with friends or access in-game features for select titles. The camera has a wide-angle lens, which you can adjust to keep yourself in frame easily. It also automatically adjusts its brightness so your face is always visible.
Samsung 256GB microSD Express: $59
Even with the Switch 2’s boosted storage, you may be looking to increase its memory with a microSD card. This Samsung Express microSD is designed specifically for Nintendo’s new console and features a unique Mario-inspired design.
Released alongside the console last summer, CNET’s Scott Stein called this game the “best reason to buy a Switch 2 yet.” With massive multilevel worlds, it offers hours of fun and chaotic “smash-everything gameplay” for either one or two players, thanks to its support for local co-op.
Though Nintendo is no longer stocking the Mario Kart World console bundle, you can still pick up this iconic racing game on its own. There are 30 unique tracks, 50 playable characters and you can race up to 23 other players at a time.
Nintendo Switch 2 deals (Canada)
Canadian shoppers can get the standalone console for CA$630, or grab the Super Mario Galaxy bundle for CA$700, which saves you CA$30 compared to buying the games and console separately. Both a physical and a digital version of the bundle are available.
Adding both the Switch 2 console and a copy of Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 to your cart will automatically save you CA$30 at Best Buy Canada. The standalone console is also available if you don’t want the games.
Like several other retailers, EB Games is offering CA$30 off your order when you bundle the Switch 2 console with Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2. Just note that console orders are limited to three per household.

Nintendo Canada is currently sold out of both the Mario Kart World and Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundles, but still has the standalone console available for purchase.
Nintendo Switch 2 deals (UK)
Nintendo UK still has the standalone console available, but the Mario Kart World and Pokemon Legends: Z-A bundles are currently sold out.
John Lewis doesn’t have any Switch 2 bundles available, but does have the standalone console in stock.
Argos has the standalone console available right now, along with a handful of bundle offers that save you around £10 on select games and accessories.
Though it’s currently backordered, ShopTo is one of the few retailers that still has the Mario Kart World bundle available for purchase. The standalone console is in stock right now as well.
Smyths has both the standalone console and Mario Kart World bundle available right now, but they’re only available for in-store pickup.
EE has the Switch 2 console available, and is offering up to £15 off popular games like Pokopia, Resident Evil Requiem and Super Mario Bros. Wonder when bundled with the purchase.
Currys only has the standalone console available right now, and it’s on sale for £10 off the usual price. Plus, you can get 20% off Logitech accessories when bundled with the purchase.
Game has the standalone Switch 2 and the Mario Kart World bundle available, but not the Pokemon Legends: Z – A bundle.
The Game Collection has the standalone console and Mario Kart World bundle available, as well as a handful of other unique bundles. You can pick up the console with a copy of Resident Evil Requiem or Cyber Punk 2077, or pair it with a sling case and screen filter.
How much does the Nintendo Switch 2 cost?

For the new Switch 2, Nintendo has ditched the colored Joy-Cons for a more sleek, monochrome look — although there are still pops of red and blue around the analog sticks. As of now, Nintendo hasn’t said anything about additional colors. Additionally, it’s rumored that Samsung — which makes the displays for the Switch 2 — is pushing for an OLED version of the console.
