You won’t find any direct discounts at this point, but there are plenty of trade-in and new-line offers that can save you hundreds. Plus, you’ll find tons of refurbished models out there, which are a great option for folks on a seriously tight budget. Just be aware that some of the models featured below can be activated only on a specific carrier, so double-check that it’s compatible with your service plan before you buy.
Best Galaxy S23 deals
The only configuration still available at Samsung is the 256GB lavender Galaxy S23 Plus, and you can still snag it at a discount with an eligible trade-in. Technically, exchanging your old phone could save you around $600, but that’s only if you’re looking to downgrade from a newer model. For older models, the biggest discount available is $341 off, which is what you’d get in exchange for the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
If you can live with a used phone, Verizon has a pretty incredible offer for people on a tight budget right now. Activate a new line of service on an Unlimited Welcome, Plus or Ultimate plan, and you can get a refurbished Galaxy S23 or S23 Plus for free — saving you up to $629. There are also quite a few more colors to choose from than you’ll find at most other retailers and carriers.
The refurbished Galaxy S23 Ultra is the only model still available at Best Buy, and you can pick it up for $780, which saves you over $400 compared to shopping new. Plus, the tech retailer has its own trade-in program where you can save up to $300 in exchange for your old phone, which is what you’d get for a maxed-out iPhone 14 Pro Max.
If you’re on a seriously tight budget, opting for a refurbished model is the easiest way to get one of these Samsung phones in your pocket for less. Back Market is one of our favorite retailers for used electronics, and it has tons of unlocked Galaxy S23 phones available for as little as $268. Plus, it even has a trade-in program, where you can score additional savings.
How much does the Galaxy S23 cost?
The four models of the Galaxy S23 are available in various storage configurations. Regular US pricing for each model starts at:
- Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: $600
- Samsung Galaxy S23: $800
- Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus: $1,000
- Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: $1,200
The Galaxy S23 Plus and S23 Ultra models both have a base storage of 256GB, while the base-spec Galaxy S23 and S23 FE models come with only 128GB. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus offer 8GB of RAM, and the step-up Galaxy S23 Ultra boasts 12GB of RAM.
What colors does the Galaxy S23 come in?
As always, Samsung’s phones come in an array of attractive colors. There’s a selection of nature-inspired colors for the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra, including phantom black, cream, green and lavender. Plus, Samsung is also offering an exclusive lime green color in its own online store. The Galaxy S23 FE is available only in graphite, cream, mint and purple.
However, you’ll have a pretty difficult time if you’re looking for a specific color, as most carriers and retailers only have a slim selection still in stock.
