The Ring Battery Doorbell is down to $60 in both satin nickel and venetian bronze color options which is a return to the record-low price we saw during last year’s Prime Day sales. Satin nickel is the classic Ring doorbell color, while the venetian bronze adds a little personality to your porch.
While this base-level Ring doorbell doesn’t quite compete with the upgraded Plus or Pro version in terms of specs, CNET’s resident smart home expert Tyler Lacoma called it a “very competent” option in his list of the best Ring video doorbells, thanks to its HD video and competitive field of view. Affordability is also a huge point in its favor — especially today — and head-to-toe video, two-way talk, motion alerts and package detection round out the feature set (some requiring a Ring Protect plan).
