March Madness TV Deals: Slam Dunk Some Savings on TVs of All Kinds and Sizes

March Madness officially kicks off on March 18, which is today. If you’re a fan of the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments like we are, you’re probably prepping for the first games of the series. Don’t forget to make sure your TV is ready, too. Retailers are gearing up for March Madness by dropping deals on everything from Sonos speakers to meat bundles. And of course, there are plenty of TVs on sale to make the most of game days. Our favorite picks are below, covering many sizes and budgets to fit various needs.

From staggering dimensions to OLED screens, we’ve gathered the best TV deals to help you upgrade without overextending your budget. Any of these models will be a slam dunk for your living room. We’ll keep updating this list as the championship goes on, so check back if you don’t find a suitable deal.

March Madness TV deals

75-inch Hisense U8 Series QLED 4K TV: $1,300

This U8 model has a 75-inch 4K display, Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR 10 Plus, HLG and Dolby Atmos. With a total of five speakers, 1,500 nits of brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate, this TV is a solid option, and it features the Google TV platform.

Sony Bravia XR X90L OLED 4K TV: $1,300

This UHD model sports HDR 10, HLG, Dolby Vision and DTS Digital Surround, along with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has Google Assistant and Alexa built-in for hands-free control. It also has X-Motion motion enhancement technology, so you don’t miss a single step taken in March Madness.

65-inch TCL Q7 QLED 4K TV: $550

TCL’s highly rated TV has a bright screen with excellent contrast, as well as full-array local dimming. It uses Google’s TV platform and is at a decent price, especially right now, as Best Buy has slashed the price of the 65-inch model by $50. 

50-inch Samsung Frame QLED 4K TV: $1,000

If you want to score a solid deal on a QLED model, this TV is worth considering. It has a decent 50-inch OLED display, along with 4K resolution, HDR 10 Plus and a 120Hz refresh rate. The famous Frame TV doubles as artwork when you’re not watching. Plus, the slim-fit wall mount is included for free.

85-inch Samsung Q80C Series QLED 4K TV: $2,200

This Q80C model sports a mammoth 85-inch direct full array 4K display, along with HDR Plus, Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite. It also has a Motion Xcelerator Turbo Plus, which delivers 4K at a 120Hz refresh rate so you can catch the game without lag or blur. 

65-inch LG C4 Series OLED 4K TV: $1,400

You’ll want to splurge on an OLED screen for top-notch image quality. The LG C4 is the best high-end TV on the market, and now Best Buy has slashed the price on the 65-inch model to just $1,400.

Hisense 75-inch R6 Series 4K Roku TV: $478

For less than $500, you can score this 75-inch TV with 4K resolution, Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10, DTS Studio Sound and a 120Hz refresh rate, all of which will provide an immersive March Madness experience. This model uses our favorite user interface, Roku, and it supports Alexa and Google Assistant for hands-free control. 

65-inch Roku Plus Series QLED 4K TV: $580

A 65-inch screen is a really good size for most living rooms, and Roku’s platform is our favorite interface, so this Roku TV is a solid option for anyone looking to upgrade. It has 4K resolution, HDR 10 Plus, Dolby Vision and HLG. It also includes a hands-free voice remote.

Vizio 50-inch V-Series 4K TV: $328

The 50-inch Vizio V-Series TV may not have the most impressive screen size out there, but it is a great budget TV. Right now, there’s a special deal that reduces the price to just $328. It boasts Dolby Vision HDR10, HDR10 Plus and HLG and will deliver a solid picture for the cost. 

55-inch Hisense A7 Series UHD TV: $280

This TV has a lot of great specs in addition to its 4K UHD resolution. It also sports Dolby Vision and Atmos, HDR 10 Plus, ALLM, game mode, a 60Hz refresh rate and even game mode for March Madness. The device also has a decent sized screen and runs the Fire TV platform.
