Home solar systems and home batteries are great to have during an emergency, but they can be complicated to manage if you’re trying to minimize electricity costs or keep your devices charged before a likely outage. EcoFlow’s new Oasis AI assistant may be able to help you with that.
AI assistants aren’t a rarity anymore, with plenty of consumer products across phones, wearables, computing and electric vehicles making moves to incorporate AI and its capabilities. But AI in portable power stations and home energy systems isn’t something we’ve heard of before, but that’s exactly what the EcoFlow Oasis is.

It’s an AI-powered home energy management system that works with existing EcoFlow products like the Delta 3 Plus and River 3 Plus, as well as EcoFlow’s whole home backup power solutions, like the Delta Pro Ultra and Smart Home Panel 2 system in North America. In Europe, it also supports the PowerOcean grid-tied residential energy system, while a similar product is coming to the US, called EcoFlow Ocean Pro, which incorporates the Oasis AI.
It’ll also support third-party devices compatible with Shelly and Matter, giving users a unified view of energy sources like grid and solar and usage insights.
“With the increasingly capable systems we are introducing, EcoFlow Oasis simplifies home energy management, helping users maximize their energy investment,” said Peter Linghu, EcoFlow’s director of product strategy and development. “From charging your EV at the lowest cost to preparing for extreme weather, Oasis handles the guesswork. EcoFlow remains committed to delivering the ‘FIRST’ — flexible, innovative, reliable, simple and thorough — power solutions.”
According to EcoFlow, the Oasis uses a combination of AI, predictive analytics and automation to lower electricity cost and boost energy efficiency for homeowners. It’ll work with a home solar system to account for future energy needs, solar generation, electricity rates and weather patterns, while the AI recommendations customize the energy plan to your household.
You can manage most of the features through the EcoFlow app or PowerInsight monitor, which shows your power usage through an interactive dashboard and customizable widgets.
With solar and energy storage systems, the Oasis will automatically adjust energy use for time-of-use pricing, favoring stored solar power during peak power times and running higher-energy appliances during lower-rate periods. For disaster prep, it’ll even account for severe weather and make sure batteries are changed in advance of a likely outage.
