The wait is over; new episodes of the hit sci-fi anthology series Black Mirror are here. Charlie Brooker’s program has made a habit of showing society’s disturbing reflection through future-set satirical stories that explore the unnerving relationship between humanity and technology. Season 7 is no exception.
“You can expect a mix of genres and styles,” Brooker teased during Netflix’s Geeked Week fan event in September. “We’ve got six episodes this time, and two of them are basically feature-length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are quite funny and some are emotional.”
Unpleasant, funny and emotional — those three words sum up Black Mirror quite nicely, if you ask me.
The hype behind these new episodes is palpable, with fans champing at the bit to return to the world of the USS Callister. The new season features the show’s first-ever sequel episode, which calls back to the classic episode from season 4.
Black Mirror boasts a stacked cast in season 7. I’m not going to list every single name, but keep a look out for Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin, Paul Giamatti, Rashida Jones, Billy Magnussen, Cristin Milioti, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jimmi Simpson and Harriet Walter, among many others.
Enough small talk. Keep reading for details on how to watch Black Mirror season 7.

When to watch Black Mirror season 7
Black Mirror season 7 will drop all six episodes on Netflix on Thursday, April 10.
Here are the episode titles and descriptions:
Episode 1: Common People — When a medical emergency leaves schoolteacher Amanda (Rashida Jones) fighting for her life, desperate husband Mike (Chris O’Dowd) signs her up for Rivermind, a high-tech system that will keep her alive; but at a cost.
Episode 2: Bête — Everything is going well for Maria (Siena Kelly), a gifted executive at a chocolate company, until Verity (Rosy McEwen), an old high school acquaintance, comes back into her life. Soon, the world around her begins to change and only Maria notices.
Episode 3: Hotel Reverie — A-list actor Brandy Friday (Issa Rae) finds herself in an unusually immersive high-tech remake of a classic romantic movie. Whatever happens, she must remain on script if she ever wants to escape this situation.
Episode 4: Plaything — Cameron is an odd loner obsessed with an obscure video game from the ’90s. After he’s arrested for involvement in a gruesome cold case, the police discover their interrogation going to some strange and unexpected places. Peter Capaldi plays Cameron as an older man; Lewis Gribben steps in as younger Cameron.
Episode 5: Eulogy — Phillip (Paul Giamatti) discovers a system that lets people step into photographic memories of their past, which leads him down memory lane to revisit a difficult time from his life.
Episode 6: USS Callister: Into Infinity — Robert Daly (Jesse Plemons) is dead, but the crew of the USS Callister — now led by Captain Nanette Cole (Cristin Milioti) — discovers their problems are just beginning.
