While retro flip phones are still the butt of many a joke, today’s foldable smartphones are a far cry from those early 2000s models. Samsung, who was one of the early innovators of flip phones — had a built-in MP3 player — is still making waves when it comes to phone innovations. Case in point, the latest and greatest Galaxy Z Fold 6. This foldable phone has loads of features, beautiful camera quality and an amazing display, but that comes with a higher cost.

Our reviewers didn’t love the staggering $1,900 price tag. But thanks to a number of excellent discounts and special offers, you can get a Galaxy Z Fold 6 in your pocket for less. To help you take advantage of the savings at carriers and retailers, we’ve rounded up some of the best deals out there below.

This story is part of Samsung Event, CNET’s collection of news, tips and advice around Samsung’s most popular products.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 7.6-inch AMOLED main screen and a 6.3-inch AMOLED cover screen. The upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip gives it super-fast processing. The array of cameras matches what we saw in the previous generation, with the Z Fold 6 sporting a 10-megapixel cover camera, a 4-megapixel under-display camera and a rear triple-camera setup, with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera.

As for storage, you can choose between 256GB, 512GB or 1TB, and each model is equipped with 12GB of RAM and the latest version of the company’s software, known as One UI 6. According to Samsung, you should be able to get the 4,400-mAh battery up to a 50% charge in about half an hour with wired charging. It performed well in our battery drain test: After streaming a YouTube video for 3 hours at full brightness on the main 7.6-inch screen, the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s battery dropped to 82%, not much less than the non-folding Galaxy S24 and better than other folding phones.
