Is the October Prime Day Sale a good time to buy outdoor gear?

October’s Prime Big Deal Days sale one of the best times of the year to grab everything you need for camping, hiking or just relaxing on the back patio. Not only is it one of the biggest shopping events of the year, but it also takes place just after summer has ended, so most retailers are eager to unload their remaining outdoor gear as winter weather rolls in.

What else is on sale for October Prime Day?

You’ll find deals on just about everything during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale. It’s the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season, so you can expect tons of bargains on potential gifts, including top gadgets, apparel, toys and more. And while the deals might not match the discounts we saw during Labor Day, you can find some serious savings on big-ticket items like mattresses and major appliances as well.
