The new flagship also has the custom-built Snapdragon 8 Elite chip to help support the new AI features offered on the Galaxy S25. Plus, these phones are outfitted with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and feature aluminum frames. You’ll also get seven years of OS and security updates, which definitely takes your dollar further. Additionally, the S25 Ultra now also has rounded edges, which is more consistent with the rest of the lineup, along with a larger 6.9-inch display.

How much does the Galaxy S25 lineup cost?
The three models of the Galaxy S25 are available in various storage configurations. US pricing for each model is as follows:
- Samsung Galaxy S25 price: $800
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus price: $1,000
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra price: $1,300
In terms of configuration upgrades, the base S25 RAM is increasing from the 8GB of its predecessor to 12GB of RAM. That means that all three phones will now start at 12GB of RAM. The regular S25 comes with either 128GB or 256GB of storage, while the S25 Plus comes with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The S25 Ultra is available with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage.

Best Buy is not offering any direct discounts right now on unlocked models, but it is throwing in a free Best Buy gift card with your S25 series purchase. Preordering the S25 will score you a $50 gift card, the S25 Plus gets you a $100 gift card, and the S25 Ultra will net you a gift card worth $200. Additionally, if you use Best Buy’s trade-in program you can save up to $500 off the S25, up to $700 off the S25 Plus or up to $900 off the S25 Ultra. You can check your trade-in value directly on Best Buy’s site.
There are also carrier deals happening through Best Buy that you may not want to overlook. If you’re looking to pick up the S25 Ultra and don’t mind signing up with a carrier, you can save up to $1,300 at AT&T and $1,000 at Verizon with an eligible trade-in. If you opt for the S25 Plus, both carriers are offering up to $1,000 off. And if it’s the base S25 you’re after, both carriers will take $800 off. These savings are delivered via bill credits and require a qualifying plan and trade-in.
Like with Best Buy, Amazon is offering a free gift card with your preorder of the Galaxy S25 lineup. You’ll get a $100 Amazon gift card with the purchase of an S25 or S25 Plus or a $200 gift card with your purchase of the S25 Ultra.
AT&T is also offering preorders of the Galaxy S25 series. AT&T has a trade-in deal offering up to $1,300 off the Galaxy S25 Ultra with an eligible trade-in. That essentially nets you your new phone for free. Note that this offer is available in select locations and requires the activation of a new line or an upgrade of an existing line to qualify.
Preorder your S25 series phone from T-Mobile and you can save up to $1,000. This means that you can potentially get the base S25 or S25 Plus for free.
T-Mobile is offering up to $1,000 off of the new Galaxy S25 series when you trade in an eligible phone on a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plan. You can also save up to $800 with a new line and a trade-in or just the new line on the Go5G Plus plan. If that’s not for you, there’s also the option to save up to $600 with a new line on most of the company’s plans or up to $500 with a trade-in on most plans. It is important to note that these savings are delivered via monthly bill credits over a 24-month period, so you’ll need to keep the plan to fully redeem this deal.
You can also preorder the Galaxy S25 lineup at Verizon. Right now Verizon is offering a pretty great deal if you have an older phone you’re willing to part with. You can get up to $1,000 with an eligible trade-in, and the company is taking phones in any condition. You will have to upgrade to an Ultimate Unlimited plan to qualify.
Additionally, you can get a Watch or Tab for free with your Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus purchase — just note that a new line will also be required for your smartwatch or tablet.
At Boost Mobile, you can preorder the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus for $0 down and $0 a month with the Infinite Access for Galaxy $65 plan. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will cost a little more, coming in at an additional $8.33 per month, and will also require getting the Infinite Access for Galaxy $65 plan. After maintaining the plan for 12 months, any of the three models is considered fully paid off and yours to keep.
You also have the option to pay the cost of the phone in full and receive an entire year of free phone service through Boost Mobile.
