Best Galaxy Ring Deals: Save Up to $130 With Discounts and Trade-In Offers

Many people use a fitness tracker or a smartwatch to keep tabs on their health and fitness metrics. But smart rings are rapidly becoming viable alternatives, and they don’t take up a spot on your wrist. There are a growing number of smart ring options to choose from, but for those in the Samsung ecosystem, the Galaxy Ring is the obvious option. The Galaxy Ring normally sells for around $400, but we’ve found savings from many retailers and carriers to make it more affordable.

Not many retailers offer discounts on this unassuming Samsung device at the moment, but there are still a few places where you can snag one for less if you have a device to trade in. With nearly five years of experience as a CNET deals writer, Adrian Marlow has used that expertise to round up some of the best (and only) Galaxy Ring offers available right now. We’ll continue to update this page as offers come and go, so be sure to check back often for the latest batch of deals.

This story is part of Samsung Event, CNET’s collection of news, tips and advice around Samsung’s most popular products.

The Galaxy Ring keeps track of your sleep, energy and activity. It’s IP68-rated water resistant, so you can keep it on while swimming, but it shouldn’t be used for high-pressure water activities like diving. The battery can last up to seven days on a single charge, but that varies depending on size and usage. Just 30 minutes should get you to a charge of 40%. It’s worth noting that the Galaxy Ring is only compatible with Android phones that can install the Samsung Health app.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

If you’re interested in other Samsung devices, check out all the best deals on the Galaxy S25 phone lineup or the Galaxy Z Flip 6 or Galaxy Z Fold 6 to ensure you get the best price.

Samsung has a $100 direct discount on the Galaxy Ring right now, bringing it down to $300. But if you are a student or teacher, government employee, in the military or a veteran, a first responder or fall into a few select other categories, you may be eligible to take advantage of more savings. You can also save up to $150 when trading in an old device.

Remember that you can order a free sizing kit from Samsung to ensure your new Galaxy Ring fits correctly.

You can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Ring at Best Buy at $100 off, bringing the starting price to $300. And if you have a similar device from Fitbit, Apple, Garmin, Samsung, Google or select other brands, you may score some trade-in savings.

Trade-in values vary greatly. Some items score as little as $5, while others get as much as $300. The largest value goes to newer Apple devices. That means you could score your Samsung Galaxy Ring for as little as $100 with an eligible trade-in.

Amazon is offering the same $100 off as other retailers, which is a rare discount. We don’t expect this deal to last for long, though. Amazon is also offering a Galaxy Ring sizing kit for $10, and you’ll get a $10 credit toward the ring when you order it, making the kit free.

AT&T has the Samsung Galaxy Ring available, but it isn’t offering any discounts at the moment. However, you can order a free sizing kit or try on samples directly at select AT&T stores in person. Check the AT&T website to find participating locations in your area.

Walmart is offering many sizes and colors for just $300, with size 11 even cheaper at just $270. Just keep in mind only select sizes are discounted. If your size is not discounted, you’re better off buying from Amazon, Samsung or Best Buy.

What is the best Galaxy Ring deal right now?

Nearly all the retailers, including Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon are offering the same discount, so the deals are comparable. If you have a something to trade in, you can save a little more at Best Buy. Overall, though, the best deal right now is through Samsung directly where you can get the $100 discount, plus more if you are military, first responder or a student. In addition, Samsung has a trade-in offer that can save you even more.

How we choose Galaxy Ring deals at CNET

Many of CNET’s dedicated deals experts have covered savings on top tech for more than five years, including bargains on wearables and fitness trackers from popular brands like Apple, Samsung and Google. Our combined experience has helped us learn how to identify standout deals and uncover more creative ways to save when sales are slim. These include any straightforward discounts being offered by trustworthy retailers, as well as savings in the form of trade-in offers, exclusive discounts for service members and more.

The Galaxy Ring requires you to have the Samsung Health app, so while it’s not exclusively compatible with Samsung phones, it will only work with Android phones that can install the app. That means the Galaxy Ring cannot be used with iPhones or other Apple devices.

The starting price for the Galaxy Ring in the US, before any trade-ins or discounts, is $400.

You can order the Galaxy Ring in titanium black, titanium silver or titanium gold.

You can order the Galaxy Ring in nine different sizes, running from size 5 through size 13. It is important to note that Samsung says the Ring’s sizing differs from US standards due to its internal sensors. The company recommends ordering its free sizing kit before you place your order.
